    State Senator Golden,

I believe you should consider allowing a professional chauffeur to motor you to your appointments. The generous citizens of New York prefer you to not speed, collide with pedestrians nor drive in the bicycle lanes. Just because you “used to be a police officer” and you oppose photo radar cameras, the friendly citizens of New York may view your motor vehicle operating behavior as another reason to vote you from office.

I was recommended to reach out to you in reference to medicare. I am on Dialysis since 2014. I have been applying for medicare for over 2 years. applied several times and no progress. Also my insurance coordinator Erin Coy from Davita Dialysis Center 1435-86th street Brooklyn have been dealing with Mrs. Peralta and Mrs. Figueroa from the local SS. office. we also called main office quite a few times still nothing has been taken care of. Can you suggest what I can do next. Thankyou

    Senator Golden,
I want to thank you very much for the Memorial last night in Marine Park. I am originally from Bay Ridge & Bensonhurst and now live in Ventura Ca, As much as my Church is vigil about remembering 911 they don’t really “get it” I was brought to tears most of the night last night because I have not been "home " for 10 years. I want to take this time to say I personally will never forget those who died that day and after as you reminded us last night have died senselessly due to illness resulting from the horror of 911. God Bless you sir

    Regards,

    Marilyn Ferraiuolo

Sen Golden – Thank you for supporting #Lavernslaw. It protects NYers right to seek justice when a doctor negligently fails to diagnose cancer. lohud.us/2s27Z53

Please support the New York Health Act. Universal coverage is a human right. Let’s continue New York’s progress and leadership by being the first!!!

You must use your position as a senator to push threw the New York Health Act. single Payer / universal healthcare is one of the most important issues in New York and America at large.

It is a disgrace that America is the richest country in the world and also the only first world country that does not provide a basic and essential thing to it’s people: healthcare. New York City is arguably the capital of the world and New York State must set a precedent for the rest of the country by providing healthcare to all people.

It is unacceptable that New Yorkers are going into‚Äč debt because of outrageous medical bills and many members of the working class can not even afford health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Thank you for your help in stopping the blatant power grab to put a jail in our residential community of Sheepshead Bay. I received a telephone call from Assemblywoman Weinstein’s office on the subject and I decided to check KingsCounttyPolitics.com to make sure that all of our elected leaders regardless of party affiliation were listed. Since your name was not listed, I made sure that I commented on that omission and to give credit to you and your office as well for your help.

Hi Marty, For some reason, no matter how many times I have requested being placed on your email distribution list, I still don’t receive your emails. I am a Gerritsen Beach resident and getting updated information from you on all matters post Super Storm Sandy is important to me. I recently learned you had a Town Hall Meeting in Gerritsen Beach and I knew nothing about it. The sharing of information has become pretty skimpy down here. I would greatly appreciate receiving your emails….Thank you, Linda Rizzotto

    The Gallery Players

    199 14th St.

    Brooklyn, NY 11215

    EIN#23-7286736

FIRST ANNUAL Raise the Curtain FUNDRAISER

    TO BENEFIT THE GALLERY PLAYERS

    January 9, 2016

We are excited to announce The Gallery Players will be hosting their first annual Raise the Curtain Fundraiser on Saturday,

May 21st, 2016! When The Gallery Players first began in 1967, it started with little more than a dream. Since then, it has

been built into a Brooklyn institution, and a place for artists to showcase their talents. Located in Park Slope, but beloved on

both sides of the Brooklyn Bridge, The Gallery Players is dedicated to producing classic and contemporary plays and

musicals as well as premiering new works.

This year as we celebrate our 50th anniversary, The Gallery Players need your help to preserve its continued place in the

Brooklyn community as a provider of professional-quality theatre at an affordable cost. It is our goal to raise $50,000 under

our 50 for 50 Campaign. Every dollar raised during this event will be put towards this major fundraising campaign to benefit

The Gallery Players and its patrons for the next 50 years. These benefits will include expanding programming and artist

development, capital improvements to our theatre space (including a much needed air conditioning upgrade), scholarships

for children to attend The Peanut Gallery summer musical theatre camp, and a greater commitment to community outreach

to benefit the Park Slope area.

To help us meet this goal, we are requesting your support in the form of a donation of goods or services. The Gallery

Players is a not-for-profit 501©3 organization, so every donation is tax-deductible. Your donation, together with

everything we solicit and receive, will be auctioned throughout the event. We would greatly appreciate anything you are

able to contribute. All companies making donations will be provided with a letter indicating the value of their gift and will

be honorably listed in our event program.

We hope that you will share your gratitude and support of our work by participating in this event, and help The Gallery

Players continue to instill the appreciation of theater in future generations in Brooklyn. If you have any questions, feel free

to contact our Fundraiser Co-Chair, Mary LaRosa by phone at 347-8041344, or by email raisethecurtain2016@gmail.com.

If you are able to help, please send any donations by April 30th, 2016 to the following address:

    The Gallery Players

    199 14th St.

    Brooklyn, NY 11215

Attn: Dominic Cuskern, Board of Directors President

As always, thank you for your consideration and generosity in support of The Gallery Players. We look forward to hearing

    from you soon.

    Gratefully,

    Dominic Cuskern Mary La Rosa
